 കർഷകരെ മുഖ്യധാരയിൽനിന്നും സമൂഹം മാറ്റിനിർത്തുന്നു. അതുകെണ്ടാണ് പുതുതലമുറ മണ്ണിൽനിന്നും കൃഷിയുൽനിന്നും മാറിനിൽക്കുന്നത് . കർഷകരെ സർക്കാർ ജീവനക്കാരായി അംഗീകരിക്കുകയും അർഹമായ ആനുകൂല്യങങൾ നല്കുകയും വേണം . കൃഷിയും ഒരു പ്രൊഫണായി അംഗീകരിക്കുമ്പോൾ മാത്രമേ കർഷകന് മാന്യതയും ആദരവും ലഭിക്കുകയുള്ളുവെന്ന്   പെരുമന പറഞ്ഞു.

.For Molly George, who is in her late forties, leaving the nunnery was not as smooth as it was for Maria. She actually ran away in fear of being raped and killed. George is also from Palai, Kottayam, and also joined the order as a way out of poverty. She joined the convent at the age of 17, and, after two years of training, was sent to the Andamans for social service. “Initially, I enjoyed the life [there]. I had a lot of things to do in service of the poor. Gradually, I realised that all was not well around me. I was sexually harassed by a Parish priest. When I wouldn’t give in to his advances, he started intimidating and spreading rumours about me. I complained to the Mother Superior, but was disappointed by her response. I was assigned work at a village quite far from the convent and had to walk 5-6 km every day. The road through the forest was often deserted and this man used to follow me. I was thoroughly scared. I was even afraid that he would kill me. I wrote to my sisters that I do not want to be another Abhaya [a nun who was famously murdered]. I decided to come back to Kerala. My elder sister sent a telegram that my mother was seriously unwell and so they allowed me to go. I never went back.”

Back home, George was supported by her three sisters, but her three brothers gave her a hostile welcome. They got her married off. In her case, there was no property to share, a common reason for brothers to treat their sisters exiting nunneries as pariahs. George’s husband was a former priest, but his family didn’t accept them. George, her husband and two children now live in Kottayam, and she does menial jobs to support the family.

            കത്തോലിക്കാ സഭയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ രൂപീകൃതമായ ഇൻഫാമെന്ന  കർഷക സംഘടന  സുന്ദര മൊഹന വാഗ്ദാനങ്ങളും വലിയ പ്രതീക്ഷയും നൽകി കർഷകരെ വഞ്ചിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.  അന്നത്തെ ആന്റണി  സർക്കാർ, സഭയുടെ സ്വത്തുക്കൾ സംബന്ധിച്ച  കണക്കുകൾ ശേഖരിക്കുവാൻ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഇതിന്റെ അപകടം മണത്തറിഞ്ഞ കത്തോലിക്കാ സഭ സർക്കാരിനെ താഴെയിറക്കുവാനും അപകീർത്തിപ്പെടുത്തുവാനും ഇൻഫാം രൂപീകരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു, ഇക്കാര്യം സംഘടനയുടെ ചെയർമാൻ ഫാ. മാത്യു വടക്കേമുറി എന്നോട് പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട്. സഭാനേതൃത്വത്തിന് ജനങ്ങളിൽ മതിയായ വിശ്വാസമില്ലാതിരുന്നതിനാൽ  സംഘടനയുടെ  ഓരോ യൂണിറ്റുകളുടെയും രക്ഷാധികാരികളായി അതാതു പ്രദേശങ്ങളിലെ പള്ളി വികാരിമാരെയാണ് നിയമിച്ചിരുന്നത്.

 കാർഷിക ഉല്പ്പന്നങ്ങളുടെ വിലയിടിവിനു കാരണം സർക്കാരിന്റെ പിടിപ്പുകേടാണെന്നു വരുത്തിത്തീർത്ത് ലക്ഷക്കണക്കിന് കർഷകരെ സംസ്ഥാന സർക്കാരിനെതിരെ തിരിച്ചുവിടുന്നതിൽ കത്തോലിക്കാ സഭ വിജയിച്ചു എന്നു പറയാം. അംഗത്വ ഫീസായും മറ്റു സംഭാവനകളിൽനിന്നും സജീവ പ്രവർത്തകരിൽ നിന്ന്  കടമായും വടക്കേമുറിയച്ചന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ സഭ കോടികൾ  തട്ടിയെടുക്കുകയായിരിന്നു.  വടക്കേമുറിയച്ചൻ നിയന്ത്രിച്ചിരുന്ന എസ്. ഡി.എ. എന്ന സന്നദ്ധ സംഘടന വഴിയും അച്ചൻ വൻതുക തട്ടിയെടുത്തു.  നിരപരാധികളായ നിരവധിപേർ വഞ്ചിക്കപ്പെട്ടു.  ഈ സാമ്പത്തിക ക്രമക്കേടുകളേക്കുറിച്ച്  സി.ബി. ഐ. പോലുള്ള ഏജൻസികളെക്കൊണ്ട് സർക്കാർ ഉടൻ അന്വേഷിപ്പിക്കണം .പുരോഹിതരെ വശ്വസിച്ച് തെരുവിൽ ഇറങ്ങിയ കർക്ഷകരുടെ ഉല്പന്നങ്ങൾക്ക് നല്ല വില വാങ്ങിത്തരാമെന്നു പറഞ്ഞ്  നാട്ടുകരിൽനിന്നും കോടിക്കണക്കിനു രൂപ ഷെയറായി പിരിച്ചെടുത്ത് സ്ഥാപനങ്ങൾ ആരംഭിക്കുകയും , സഭയുടെ അനധികൃത സ്വത്തുക്കളെ സംബന്ധിച്ച അന്വേഷണത്തിൽ നിന്നും സർക്കാർ  പിൻമാറിയതോടെ കർക്ഷകരെയും സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളെയും തെരുവിലെറിഞ്ഞ്  പുരോഹിതർ വീണ്ടും പള്ളിമേടകളിലേയ്ക്ക് ചെക്കേറുകയായിരുന്നു.

 ഇൻഫാമിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ചിറങ്ങിയ പാവപ്പെട്ട കർഷകർക്ക് ഒരു രൂപയുടെ വിലവർദ്ധനവ് ലഭിച്ചില്ലെന്നു മാത്രമല്ല വൻ സാമ്പത്തിക നഷ്ടവും ഉണ്ടായി.കേന്ദ്ര സർക്കാർ ഏകീകൃത സിവിൽകോഡ് കൊണ്ടുവരുമെന്ന ഭയവും വിദേശത്തുനിന്നും സഭക്ക് സന്നദ്ധ സംഘടനകളുടെ പേരിൽഎത്തിച്ചേരുന്ന പണത്തേക്കുറിച്ച് കേന്ദ്ര സർക്കാർ അന്വേക്ഷണം ആരംഭിച്ചതുമാണ് നൂനപക്ഷ പീഡനമാരോപിച്ച് ഇന്ത്യയെ ദേശത്തും വിദേശത്തും അപകീർത്തിപ്പെടുത്തുവാൻ ശ്രമം നടന്നത് . ഇൻഫാമിന്റെ പേരിൽ വടക്കേമുറിയച്ചനേയും സഭയെയും വിശ്വസിച്ച്  പലവിഭാഗങ്ങളിലായി  പണം മുടക്കിയവർക്ക് ലക്ഷങ്ങൾ ഇന്നും കിട്ടാനുണ്ട്.   സഭയുടെ  ചില ആജ്ഞാനുവർത്തികളെ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് നിഗൂഡ ലക്ഷ്യത്തോടെ ഇൻഫാമിനെ ഒരിക്കൽക്കുടി രംഗത്തിറക്കി ജനങ്ങളെ വഞ്ചിക്കുവാൻ സഭ തയ്യാറെടുക്കുകയാണ്.  സഭ തുടങ്ങിവച്ച എല്ലാ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളും വൻ സമ്പത്തിക വളർച്ചകൈവരിച്ചപ്പോൾ ഇതേ സഭയുടെ കർക്ഷക സംഘടനയായ ഇൻഫാം കർഷകർക്കുവേണ്ടി തുടങ്ങിവച്ച ഒരുസ്ഥാപനങ്ങളും നിലനിൽക്കുന്നില്ലെന്നുതന്നെയല്ല കർഷകർ വൻ സാമ്പത്തിക കെണിയിലുമായി ഇനിയും നമ്മൾ വഞ്ചിതരാവണമോ ........

March 29: The Catholic Church in Kerala will pay Rs 12 lakh to help a nun "settle herself in life'' after she alleged that she was tortured and expelled from her convent for resisting the advances of a priest. Reformation campaigners in Kerala said this was probably the first time in the history of the Church that a nun was being paid although some instances of child abuse victims being compensated had been reported abroad. The payment promise was the outcome of talks between representatives of the nun and the spokesperson for the Syro Malabar Catholic Church, Paul Thelekkat. She had earlier threatened to hold a sit-in outside her convent - the Sisters of St. Agatha convent in Aluva near Kochi - which had refused to take her back on her return from Italy on February 20. In an email response to The Telegraph , Thelekkat said an amicable settlement had been reached, adding that the objective was to help her settle in life. He termed the allegations of torture and sexual harassment untrue. "The issue with Sister (name withheld by this newspaper) is settled very amicably on Saturday giving her 12 lakhs to help her to settle herself in life. She did not tell me of any torture in the convent. "The convent authorities took a decision that she is not fit for a convent life. The same congregation is giving her some help to settle her in life. The stories of torture and sexual harassment are not at all true and she does not hold any such grievances," Thelekkat said. The nun could not be reached today for comment. Reji Njallani, the Kerala Catholic Church Reformation Movement convener who had fought alongside the nun, said: "This is perhaps the first time in history that the Church is paying compensation to a nun. I'm happy that we could achieve at least this much." But a rights activist once associated with the Church has questioned the settlement. "The Church may claim it is a living allowance, but in reality it is to seal the nun's mouth - to ensure that she does not speak out any more,'' said Jesme, a former nun who had walked out of her congregation Church in 2008, alleging "physical and mental abuse''. "Even when I quit, well-wishers had advised me to ask for compensation. But I think the honour of a woman who dedicated herself to a spiritual life in the faith that it was safe is worth much more than a few lakhs of rupees,'' she added. The St. Agatha convent nun, who hails from Kannur in northern Kerala, had earlier alleged that she was turned back from the convent after her return from Italy. The nun had said her ordeal started while she was posted in Madhya Pradesh when she resisted the sexual advances of the priest.

 കയറ്റുമതി ഇപ്പോൾ 5%ത്തിനു താഴെയായി സ്പെസസ്‌ബോർഡിന്റെ നിയന്ത്രണത്തിൽ നിന്നും ഏലത്തെ എടുത്തുമാറ്റി സ്വതത്ര വിപണി ഏർപ്പെടുത്തിയാൽ കിലോയ്ക്ക് 2000. രൂപക്കുമേൽ വില ലഭിക്കുമെന്നിരിക്കെ ഹൈറേഞ്ച് സംരക്ഷണസമിതിയും ഇടുക്കി എം.പി.യും സ്‌പൈസസ്‌ബോർഡിനെ സഹായിച്ച് കർക്ഷകരെ ദ്രേഹിക്കുകയാണ്.

വളങ്ങളുടെയും കീടനാശീനികളുടെയും വർദ്ധിച്ചവിലയും  കൂലിവർദ്ധനവും കൂടിയായപ്പോൾ കർക്ഷകർ ആകെ തകർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു. ഈ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ ഏലം വിലയിടിവ് സംബന്ധിച്ച് ഹെറേഞ്ച് സംരക്ഷണസമിതിയും ഇടുക്കി എം.പി. യും നിലപാടു പ്യക്തമാക്കണം
